YUSEF EL HAYEK
The founder of classical sculpture in Lebanon born 1883 .He was trained as a sculptor in Rome , then in Paris at Bourdelle's studio .
After thirty years of a long journey with his friend Gibran Khalil Gibran , return to his motherland in 1938 .
He is the author of many portraits , nudes and religious subjects (themes) . The big percent of his thirty years work were scattered in Europe and USA.
Died in solitude in his village home in 1962 .
